The Healthy Working Lives award programme recognises businesses throughout Scotland who are addressing and identifying health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Healthy Working Lives provides support to companies who are striving to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of their employees and Last Mile Group, Energetics Parent Company, have recently been awarded the Healthy Working Lives Bronze award.
This is in recognition of the initiatives and activities introduced by the HR Department in order to promote health and wellbeing at work.
Energetics staff now benefit from a wide range of wellbeing projects including a fresh fruit drop, confidential access to mental health first aiders as well as actively engaging in activities such as mindfulness and personal trainers for wellness week.
The award is testament to the employees who provide honest and valuable feedback enabling the HR team to develop a wellbeing plan for the future, encompassing a strong, health, safety and wellbeing ethos.
The health, safety and wellbeing of employees in any sector is vital, however even more so in the construction and utilities sector that Energetics operate in.
The participation in the Healthy Working Lives award scheme reiterates the commitment that Energetics have to safeguarding the wellbeing and safety of all employees regardless of role or place of work.
